I am a Naval Officer with a background in Aircraft Maintenance (CVN, VAW & VRC), Acquisition (FE, PM, Engr, T and E) Naval Research (ONR) and Expeditionary Logistics Support (Cargo Handling Battalion, NAVELSG).I served on active duty for seven years before transitioning to the Navy Reserve in 2005. For 18 years, I have been a stay at home dad, grad student, and family move coordinator every other year in support of my wife, who is an active duty Naval Officer.I have completed my Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies and currently working toward Defense Acquisition Professional certification in Program Management (DAWIA Level 2) and PMP certification.I was most recently recalled to active duty as the NAVAIR Reserve Program Manager & Operational Support Officer (OSO) from January 2016 through June 2017.Specialties: Aircraft Maintenance Officer with organizational and intermediate level experience: administration & record keeping, detachment support & logistics planning, material control, leadership development, personnel management & training, reserve manning & pay system liaison, program management. Defense Acquisition certified (DAWIA level 1) in Program Management, Systems Planning Research Development and Engineering (SPRDE), Test and Evaluation, & Facilities Engineering.
