ABOUT JEFF PEARSON

Jeff is a Senior leader with over 20 years of diversified Oil and Gas industry experience across technical, commercial and financial roles. Jeff began his career as an engineer working in the field, then spent time in the gas trading industry before returning to MBA school. After receiving his MBA Jeff joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant working with executives around the world to address their greatest strategic challenges. Jeff departed McKinsey to join ARC Financial where he honed his entrepreneurial, investing and financial skills. While at ARC Jeff was involved in all aspects of private equity investing including deal sourcing, screening, structuring and working closely with portfolio company management to maximize value.Jeff left ARC to deepen his operating company experience wth TAQA North where he was responsible for a $160 million asset acquisition, a series of divestments and general commercial and strategic input and oversight. As the business shrunk Jeff joined Veresen Midstream LP, a joint venture between KKR and Veresen that was developing 1 bcf/d of natural gas processing facilities. At Veresen Midstream he was responsible for business development, strategy and some aspects of finance and worked closely with the small team to ensure that the business ran smoothly in a period of significant growth. Several highlights include raising $650 million in debt, bidding on over $6 billion of opportunities in the Midstream sector and liaising with the owners and Board on a regular basis.Jeff is a team player and has had significant experience working with individuals at all levels in an organization from field operators through to corporate boards. Over the past 20 years he has developed a strong knowledge of the Canadian Oil and Gas sector and built deep, long lasting relationships with his colleagues and other industry individuals. Jeff has been an active volunteer in the community and served as the Chair of the Calgary and Area United Way Board.
