ABOUT JEFF NEILL
Jeff works in general practice and has experience in providing business, financial, and tax consulting services to owner-managed businesses. This includes audit and assurance services to businesses throughout the Niagara Region. He is also a member of the firm’s Construction Niche group, although he has clients in all industries. Jeff presently serves as the Chair of DJB’s Information Technology Support Committee. Jeff is currently the Vice-President of the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on a “peer advisory group” for the Welland Hospital Foundation and is on the golf tournament committee for the Heavy Construction Association of Regional Niagara. From 2006 to 2010, he served as Treasurer of the Niagara Food Festival, and was the Chair of the Festival’s Finance Committee. From 2007 to 2009 Jeff was a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants Examination Committee, which sets the standards for the Ontario C.A. professional exams. In addition, Jeff participates in marking practice exams for the CICA’s Uniform Evaluation and the Ontario School of Accountancy Exam. In 2011, Jeff was a recipient of the Business Link 40 under 40 award. Jeff qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004, after graduating from Brock University the same year, with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. He joined DJB in as a co-op student and began working full time in 2004. He was admitted to partnership in 2012.
