With the support of a mission-aligned sponsor group, we\'ve had the privilege to build Firelands from a vision into a world-class phytomedicine production house and wellness brand. Our team is powered by purpose and seeking to make a net positive impact on the wellbeing of our patients, our customers, our community and our common home, Earth. Keynotes- Obtained B Corporation certification in August 2020, making Firelands Scientific the first certified B Corp operating in the medical cannabis industry globally- Recruited and quarterbacked a team of experts across several industries, along with a national design/build construction firm, to prepare a bespoken suite of business plans, construction documents, and state-license applications, framing our vision for a new paradigm in plant-based wellness. We succeeded in winning 3/3 highly competitive (full-vertical) licenses in Ohio\'s medical cannabis program, and Firelands Scientific was born- Standup / startup of $20M+ state-of-art cultivation, processing and headquarters facility in eight months from a corn field, earning Firelands Scientific the honor of producing the first cannabis ever legally sold in the State of Ohio, on January 16, 2019- Lead and support 100+ of the hardest-working and most passionate people the cannabis plant has ever met- Launched 25+ new SKUs of custom-branded medical products - formulating, developing and trade dressing them under a new intuitive brand-architecture in less than six months- Ideated & incubated multiple new business divisions and joint-venture relationships, leveraging the power of our world-class operational platform and team to amplify our impact potential globally.
