I love what I do. And what I do is help small business people become more successful. Here\'s what you should know about me:#1: I\'ve worked in marketing for more than 40 years. I know, I must have been a child when I started, right? Well, actually I was. My first job was at my father\'s radio station when I was 12 years old and I have been working in advertising and marketing ever since.#2: I have a wide background of knowledge in the field. I\'ve worked in radio and television broadcasting, for three different advertising agencies, did an internship with the David Letterman Show when he had his daily show on NBC and started my own marketing agency in my 50\'s.#3: I believe experience is more important than initials beside your name. I do have a degree in film and video production from the University of Georgia but I have learned a lot more about helping my clients from just working in the industry. In my opinion, there is no better teacher than being faced with a problem and having to solve it. I have worked with literally thousands of clients in my career and encountered every issue imaginable. Unlike younger people who have read or studied about solving marketing challenges in textbooks, I have spent years actually solving their problems, designing creative solutions and getting to know how to work with real people. Yes, experience does matter.#4: I\'m a storyteller first, and that is not a cliche. I see so many marketers claiming to be \'storytellers\' after they write the headline for a magazine ad. That\'s not storytelling. That\'s wordcraft. During my \'free time\', I have worked as a professional playwright, authoring more than 30 full-length plays that have been published and performed around the world. I have also written seven novels and countless short stories. I am actually an experienced storyteller, not a wordsmith, and use that skill in my work.#5 I like a challenge. There is nothing that makes me more excited than having a client come to me with a project that others have turned down. The thrill of a fresh challenge is what keeps my job and our agency exciting. No two days and no accounts are ever alike. If you become our client, you will be treated like the unique individual you are. No cookie-cutter campaigns. And that is truly exciting.

   After many years of working with my radio and on-hold clients, I realized that there was a great need for a company that offered marketing consultation and creative services in South Georgia. I founded Summerhill Digital to be a Creative Content Marketing Agency that provides marketing strategy and creative services like professional video, web design and audio production to small and medium size businesses. We are NOT an advertising agency that relies mainly on commissions from ad placement for their income. Instead, we are a group of creative people who can show how to get your business noticed.
