About Jeff Lockhart
Jeff Lockhart is a recognized leader skilled in performing arts and nonprofit organization advancement strategies, music industry business and education, business development and management, and creative ingenuity/brand management. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Northwest University. Currently he serves as the Executive Director of Kirkland Performance Center (KPC) the Seattle/Eastside region\'s premiere intimate performance venue. During his tenure he has succeeded in implementing programming, funding, and operational revitalization strategies positioning KPC as the leading venue for the performing arts throughout the Eastside region of Seattle, as well as spearheading the development and implementation of the state of the art recording/rehearsal music and video livestream studio facilities KPC Studios. Prior to KPC he founded and spearheaded Creatio (music industry business and recording arts program) at Northwest University(NU) in Kirkland, WA. Through Creatio he developed and launched 2 fully accredited B.A. degrees (B.A. Music Business and B.F.A. Recording Arts Technology), as well as implementing industry standard commercial recording studios. Earlier in his tenure at NU, he developed an extensive background in non-profit advancement most notably leading a 19 million dollar capital campaign there as well as serving as the liaison between NU and Seattle Seahawks for the Seahawks NFL summer training camp at the university from 2006-08. Lockhart founded and currently leads music performance/artist management/event production collective Live Vinyl Productions. He co-founded, manages, and plays drums in Good Day Sunshine, Laurel Canyon Legacy, Analog Catalog, and Long Live Rock. He also records drums for original music by local musicians as well as occasionally performing with several other Seattle area bands. For over a decade he promoted, co founded/managed and played drums in Creme Tangerine. Through these bands from Seattle, WA. he has extensively performed the music of the Beatles, the hits of the LA/Laurel Canyon era music scene, the classic rock era, and power pop/rock music favorites at pro sporting events/stadiums (Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders, Portland Trailblazers), theaters, festivals, galas, and large non profit charities (Northwest Harvest, American Cancer Society, Kindering).
