ABOUT JEFF KRAGEL

I was born the son of a Rock and Roll radio station owner and a French Teacher. While I didn’t know it then, the first thing my parents taught me was to work in a field that I was passionate about. I remember being in awe of how much my dad worked and how it never seemed like work for him. It was all about the music and connecting with people—taking his interests and passions and making them into a career.Over the years, I have built my practice around entrepreneurs, sports figures, and owners of privately held companies in the food, beverage, and consumer product space. Individuals and families who, much like my dad, have followed their dreams to work at their passion but simply did not have the capacity to think about all the planning items that might help their legacy for the future. I work very closely with them through all phases of planning. From start-up planning, such as qualified small business stock considerations (QSBS), to family philanthropy, to exit planning, wealth transfer planning, and everything in between.Creating a personal and reliable experience for my clients is a priority for me. It’s not uncommon for me to spend time educating their children on financial planning, philanthropy, and financial stewardship, or sitting in on company board meetings. Partnering with my clients on such impactful decisions in their world is what drives and fulfills me both professionally and personally.
