About Jeff Klein

Mr. Klein is expert in the pricing and structuring of derivative hedging instruments for both taxable and tax-exempt financing vehicles. He commands a vast understanding of provider credit risk, return requirements, documentation, underwriting and compliance criteria related to derivative products. Mr. Klein has extensive experience with municipal reinvestment products, including repurchase agreements, forward repurchase agreements, and investment agreements. His expertise includes competitive bid coordination, contract finalization and coordination of the various legal, financial and municipal professionals involved in such transactions. Further, Mr. Klein has wide-ranging experience with derivative applications in conjunction with multi-family agency (FNMA, FHLMC) financings.Specialties: Mr. Klein earned his Bachelor of Arts – Business Economics & Organization Behavior Management degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He also completed a certificate program in International Finance at the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr. Klein is a frequent presenter at Derivative and Risk Management Seminars for the National Association of Bond Lawyers, Bond Buyer Conferences and State and Local Government Organizations.
