ABOUT JEFF KILTIE

Creating memorable live experiences is my passion. With over thirty years of experience in all aspects of the Performing Arts industry, in my current role as General Manager for the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, it is my pleasure to work closely with both the City Manager for the city of Aventura and the President and CEO for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, which manages our facility. My mission is to support the city in the operation of a successful performing arts center, to provide balanced programming and excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for visitors, staff and artists. With an average of 120 events per season, we strive to create a diverse blend of programming to serve all the residents of Aventura and south Florida. During my time in the GM role, I enacted new programming budget management methods, developed new venue security protocols in conjunction with the Broward Center and the city, enhanced our social media presence, developed new programming strands, created new VIP and premium experiences, and increased commercial rental activity. As we enter our 15th anniversary season, we are creating many ways to celebrate all year with our community and artists. Outside of the office, I enjoy attending theater locally and on Broadway as often as possible. I served on the board of directors of the Carbonell Awards, South Florida’s Theater and Arts Honors from 20••••22, as board president for the 2021/22 season and now serve as a judge. I also enjoy traveling, cooking and fancy myself as a pretty good amateur mixologist and chef.
