   Golang Microservice DevelopmentAs part of a footprint reduction effort, team-led conversion of multiple previously java-based REST micro-services to Go language, targeting Kubernetes. Used Telepresence for container proxy development/debugging. In support of CI/CD, implemented unit testing and followed TDD principles. Used Jira for tracking work units. Used Git, Gerrit, Jenkins pipelines and Gitlab. Performed regular code reviews with teammates. Developed API documentation using Open API/Swagger. Implemented HTTP chunked transfer encoding enhancement to remove previous limit on data transferred to UI consumers. SAS Visual Analytics on CASDeveloped SAS API standards-compliant REST-based micro services for interfacing with SAS Cloud Analytic Services (CAS). Initial micro-service development was in java (Spring boot), and most recently these were converted to Go. Resources managed includ CAS servers, loggers, sessions, caslibs, tables, columns, sources, and rows.Designed/implemented just-in-time load feature for on-demand CAS table loads.Designed/implemented CAS table state management job execution provider for automating filesystem-based table loads.Worked with Cloud Analytic Services team to evolve features/capabilities as needed at the microservice level.SAS Visual Analytics on LASRDeveloped mid-tier java code supporting features of SAS Visual Analytics Administrator application. Generated SAS code to manage SAS LASR server operations, including defining libraries, loading data, and leveraging LASR parallel data transfer capabilities.Designed and implemented AutoLoad feature to mass import, load, refresh, append, and unload LASR data.Developed auto server start and reload-data-on-start features.
