ABOUT JEFF GIBSON
I am a Senior Associate Technical Consultant with more than 18 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in Arctic and cold climate environments. My work focuses on advancing critical northern infrastructure that improves connectivity, community resilience, and economic opportunity across the Arctic.I have supported the design and construction of major projects including the Iqaluit Deep Sea Port and Small Craft Harbours in Iqaluit and Pond Inlet, contributed to the detailed engineering design of Arctic Bay and I am currently contributing to the Grise Fiord, and Resolute Bay Small Craft Harbours. I also supported the design and construction of the Kinngait sealift laydown and currently managing the detailed design of sealift infrastructure in Kimmirut, Baker Lake, and Arctic Bay.My experience extends to aggregate and borrow source development across Nunavut and participation in major linear infrastructure initiatives in the North.I am deeply committed to ensuring that infrastructure projects in the Arctic are designed with communities in mind—supporting long-term sustainability, accessibility, and economic growth.
