I cover the Federal Reserve for CNBC.com and oversee economics coverage for the site, coordinating our reporting on Wall Street and the Fed, and I lead our coverage of breaking news on all the important monthly data points and FOMC meetings. I also help supervise our growing digital markets team.I report, edit and produce articles and offer broadcast commentary on a variety of subjects for multiple outlets. My posts have appeared in publications around the country and around the world including USA Today, the Christian Science Monitor, Yahoo Finance, NBC News and TheStreet.com. I also frequently speak on radio stations across the country, offering commentary and analysis of breaking business news stories. Among the stories I\'ve broken: I was the first mainstream journalist to write about bitcoin, the first to cover the Occupy Wall Street movement, and I was writing about funding pressures in overnight lending markets for a year before the story exploded in September 2019. This fast-paced environment requires quick decision-making and easy grasp of what is moving the volatile stock market at any given moment. While I\'m based at CNBC global HQ in Englewood Cliffs, N.J, I am frequently in Washington, D.C. to cover the Fed, the monthly jobs report and other matters.
