Corporate Safety and Health Manager for ATC safety and health programs, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, CEO. ATC has both field construction and shop manufacturing operations. We have three field offices and two fabrication plants. Our work covers 49 of the 50 states and we pursue work within these areas. As the Corporate Safety & Health Manager we develop training programs to assist Field and Shop personnel to pursue their work in a safe manner. Our clients range from major Refining and Chemical companies to municipal. Our safety programs are robust enough to cover both OSHA 1910 and 1926. Further, we comply and train on limited RMP and EPA regulatory training. Addition roles and support are as follows: Lead and manage BBS programs Lead and Manage Incident Programs Lead and Manage MOC, Compliance Audits, Employee Participation and all other fourteen elements of Process Safety Monitor and Manage Construction and Shop related Environmental Compliance i.e. NPDES, RMP, Universal Wastes, Recycling, other programs Partners with outside vendors and company personnel to develop engineering controls for safety programs and bid proposal qualification Partners with Customers and Owners with site specific safety programs, safety issues, audits regarding ATC work Jobsite presence. routinely visit job sites and performs safety audits working with site management on improving site safety Directs the work of field safety representatives on our larger projects Developed & manages KPI’s for safety, training and health programs Partners in management of DISA-NOVA and ATC Random Drug Program Testing Leads Root Cause Analysis Investigations Partner administration on ISNetworld Assist HR in monitoring workers’ compensation claims Administer safety incentive programs with Field Created and manages ATC’s Safety Champions Team Ensures environmental permits and other EPA-DEP jobsite issues are manage for spill prevention and run-off controls

Management - I have lead and partnered with as many as 150 employees as an EHS manager at a major oil company. I have lead groups of personnel from 4-15 employees in technical design and construction settings. I have also directly supervised foreman and other supervisors expanding managed personnel up to 24 persons at times. I have several years experience as leader, supervisor, EHS Leader and engineer. I feel people follow me because they believe in me and I enjoy their input and support.Philosophy of Management - develop my people then move out of their way, remove/relocate bad fits, manage from a persons talents not their detriments. Anyone can manage but leaders lead. Leaders support their people, give them quality work that inspires them when possible and helps them, help themselves. Everything starts with people, ensuring I have the right person, with the correct training, correct tools/equipment, with accurate direction, ownership, and accountability WE can accomplish much more than ME alone.Design - I have worked as a designer in Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering projects for 10 years. I have experience in Grade and Drainage, Retaining Walls, Pumps, Mechanical Piping, Water & Waste Water, Paving, Concrete Industrial and Chemical Plant Design and many other areas.Project Management - I have a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Safety - I am a certified Master TapRoot Incident Investigator and Trainer. SME in Safety Data trending and development of EHS strategies. HOP (Human & Organization Performance) Trained leader. PHA & Auditor trained by ABS, Familiar with ISO 14001. Personal Safety experience with Life Critical Skills, Mentoring, Coaching and LoTo.Environmental - Not a strong area but I have worked the civil design side of many environmental projects and can design drainage, land fill and cover & cap, monitoring wells, Subpart J and other programs-systems. Lead Environmental Team of over fifty as Interim EHS Manager at a major oil company covering DEI, Tier I, Emissions, Solid Waste, Universal Wastes, Water Runoff and other programs.Maintenance - My Industrial degree is a QA/QC focus and I am familiar with many API specifications and PSM as it relates to Asset Integrity and Reliability.Specialties: Management of Technical Staff, Incident Investigations over Project Management, Analyzing problems and issues, I have a rare ability to see the big picture and hone it down to understandable fine details.
