ABOUT JEFF BYRD

I have enjoyed my career in construction supervision, management as well as safety management. Often in our lives we have an opportunity to make a difference in a product or even in the work that we do, as a safety professional my reward has been to see the progress in construction safety. However, as an individual the greatest reward has been to give a part of my life to the people and the industry I work with and to know that every now and then I can look back and see a difference I have made for the people and the industry I work for. To explain, In my work as a safety professional I have been greatly rewarded to work with what I consider not only my coworkers but even greater \"my work family\". My goals as we go forward are to continue efforts to establish a positive culture for the construction industry providing the information to assist us in consistently making correct decisions in safety and health for our workers, employers and the industry as a whole as we enter into a new generation in our workforce.
