Work with cell therapy business unit executive leadership team to define and create the short and long term capital plan for manufacturing and R&D sites worldwide to align with the overall business unit strategy. The Cell Therapy Business Unit is in a hyper growth and investment phase with a 9 figure capital plan over each of the next 3 years. Work with and support 5 site engineering teams in the US and Europe in the execution of key capital projects >$5 million, including a large green field investment in a new manufacturing facility in Leiden, NL. Assist with and drive funding requests, support and nurture projects along through the BMS stage gate process, and ensure that projects and project teams adhere to BMS design and project management standards. Support and lead teams to create site master plans in accordance with BMS 4 stage master planning design standard. Key contributor in the creation of the cell therapy business unit capital steering committee and process for endorsement and monitoring of capital spend across the network. Workplace community involvement: Active participant in Veterans Community Network (VCN). Served as a mentor in a company wide group mentoring program. Working with Global Engineering Leadership to define critical values, gaps and needs for the organization. Project sponsor to create a new global engineering mentor program.
