Program Manager for the Research & Development on the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS). Directly supports the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) mission through the MITRE Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD). MITRE CAASD works closely with the FAA in the develop NextGen-the Next-Generation Air Transport System. MITRE works with the Federal Aviation Administration to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world to meet the evolving needs of the nation\'s airspace. The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit company that operates multiple federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). The Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD) performs work for international civil aviation authorities, airport operators, airlines, and other aviation organizations to enhance air traffic management worldwide.
