ABOUT JEFF BRAUER
I focus my practice on business litigation, construction law, and creditors’ rights matters. I regularly handle complex engineering, financial, and insurance disputes in state and federal trial courts and arbitrations. As a construction lawyer, I have represented large-scale owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals on numerous matters. I work with clients at every stage of construction, with the goal of avoiding litigation, minimizing risk, and resolving disputes early whenever possible. I also frequently pursue claims on behalf of insureds in complex construction insurance disputes. When resolution is not feasible, I have extensive litigation experience before juries and arbitration panels. I also serve as an arbitrator and I bring this perspective to my work. I also frequently represent parties to complex financial transactions including lenders, non-traditional lenders, secured creditors, general creditors, equipment lessors, and debtors in various proceedings, including bankruptcy, receiverships, commercial foreclosures, and collections. I am frequently involved in trial and dispute resolution work on cryptocurrency matters. I have aided clients in not only getting judgments in complex financial disputes, but also collecting on those judgments.In my free time, I\'m always working on a new project around my house, chasing after my young children, or taking a morning run.
