Allied Grape Growers represents over 400 California winegrape growers in the marketplace, selling their winegrapes to various grape buyers in all segments in the wine market, from daily drinkers to vineyard designated, award winning wines. As the President of Allied Grape Growers, I oversee the effective marketing of 70-100 million dollars worth of our members\' grapes annually, via a sales team of three regional directors/managers. I also manage the day-to-day business of the association overseeing up to 20 staff seasonally and a $2.6 million operating budget. In addition, I perform continuous winegrape market analysis and provide supply-side expertise to the wine industry, to assist in business strategy for growers and buyers alike.
