Before this, he taught school and coached soccer at Monroe Academy. While at the school, he received the Monroe County Teacher of the Year award twice for middle school and the GISA Coach of the Year award twice.Mr. Flournoy, beyond his professional commitments, values his personal time with family and friends. He finds joy in playing golf, watching college football, and exploring new destinations through travel. His life is enriched by his marriage to Dr. Megan Flournoy, and their three children, Wes, Brady, and Powers.Mr. Flournoy is a native of Macon, Georgia, and graduated from Stratford Academy in 1993. He earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.
