Automation Lead - Noble Alen Platform West Africa• Hired as permanent Automation Lead due to skills and qualities demonstrated during commissioning and testing of the Noble Alen Offshore Platform. Troubleshooting and programming of All PLC\'s, servers and other automated system on the platform including but not limited to Process Control PLC, Process Safety PLC and Gateway PLC, Solar Turbine Generators, GE Main Gas and Flash Gas Compressors, Emergency Generators, Nitrogen Skid,Air Compressors and all other third party skid PLC\'s, Managing Control Room HMI, All HMI Servers and Remote HMI\'s on the Field.Managing and maintaining networks on the whole platform i.e. Ethernet, ControlNet, Modbus, DeviceNet etc. On hand and on call in Automation Office during twenty eight day shifts constantly providing support to Operations and Maintenance department in all matters ranging from a field IO not working all the way up to recovering from a platform wide emergency shut-in. Maintaining real time up-link from West Africa to Houston via PI Vision(OSIsoft). Documentation of all changes,Creating MOC\'s and creating redline drawings on all modified systems. Plan and prepare in order to maintain disaster readiness to facilitate in recovery. Implement and maintain as much redundancy as possible. Conducted detailed studies to evaluate proposed system upgrades or expansionsLed full field surveys, identifying issues & technical constraints with the other engineering personnel’s and assisted in assessing current capabilities.Effectuating FAT/SAT executed by external consultants and obtaining hardware, software and systems peripherals.Contributed in the installation of the hardware, configurations of the software and testing of all systems in an offline and online environmentGuided & cross trained the team members & other co workers in technical matters of the projects to be executed.
