ABOUT JEEVA GANESAN

I am Dr.G.Jeevarathinam, working as an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Food Technology, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology (affiliated to Anna University, Chennai), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and having 9 years of teaching and research experience. I graduated with honours from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Food Process Engineering, a Master\'s Degree in Agricultural Processing & Food Engineering, and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Processing & Food Engineering. My area of research work is drying, radiation-based drying technology (infrared), hybrid drying (infrared-assisted hot air drying), enzyme, and essential component extraction. To my research credit, I have published 31 articles in reputed international journals and 4 book chapters in Springer. I have participated and presented papers in over 30 National and 10 International Conferences. I have organized 13 National conferences/webinars/seminars, 2 International conferences, and 2 FDP. I have organized an International online Virtual FDP on “Sustainable Development and Research Opportunities in Food and Chemical Engineering” addressed by various eminent professors and scientists worldwide with over 400 participants. Honoured as Young Engineer National Level during the Year 2023-24 by Institution of Engineers India (IEI). Honoured as Best Teacher for the academic year 2020-21.
