ABOUT JEET MAJUMDER
I completed my Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur in 2023 as a CSIR Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellow (AIR 2, Joint CSIR-UGC NET). Currently, I teach Paleontology and Paleoclimatology at the Department of Geology, Jogamaya Devi College, University of Calcutta. My research focuses on pteropod and planktic foraminiferal assemblages from the southeastern Arabian Sea, carried out in collaboration with my Ph.D. supervisor, Prof. Anil K Gupta. Outside academics, I enjoy photography as a creative pursuit.
