Develop, detail and finalize the project design for Reciprocating Gas Compressor Package including overseeing project engineer and manager related activities. • Manage and execute $15M to $50M projects. Lead internal engineering and design activities to support project execution. • Interface with proposal, project engineering team and customers.• Provides the required information to the mechanical designers, I&E Engineers, Vessel Engineers. Client management at every stage of the gas compression package construction, from proposal to equipment operation. Supporting the development of a production design that meets client expectations and is both safe and reasonably priced is one of the primary duties.• Responsible for evaluating the compressor, driver, and cooler data before generating the P & IDs. Responsible for making sure that the proper codes, client requirements, and OEM guidelines are adhered to. Process pipe sizing is governed by, among other things, DOT, API 618, ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5, ASME B31.8, and ASME section • Responsible for the mechanical design of pressure vessels in compliance with ASME Section ASME Section IID, and customer requirements while adhering to the vessel\'s recommended size from the vendor.• Present contract milestones and weekly progress report to management.• Monitor estimated cost vs project budget and raise project change order when required.• Organize internal and external meetings (kick off, design, Pre -Fab etc.).• Coordinate technical issues with customer (technical clarification, deviation requests).• Responsible to prepare the Bill of Material for the whole package.• Responsible to review the piping isometrics, vessel drawings, and structural drawings in order to make sure the compliance with the customer specification and Code.• Responsible for P & ID walk after the unit completion in order to verify the package is built per the proposal and customer requirement.
