About Jeep Bryant
Jeep is an award-winning executive with extensive experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. He has served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for global financial services companies, Director of Marketing for The Tony Awards, and Director of Business Development for The Broadway League. Most recently, Jeep was President of the Arts & Science Council in Charlotte where he led the agency’s crisis response during the Covid pandemic. He directed ongoing emergency meetings of cultural leaders, sharing best practices for virtual programming and online fundraising, and providing crisis grants to nonprofit organizations and artists across the community. For more than a decade, Jeep was Executive Vice President for Marketing and Corporate Affairs at BNY Mellon, one of the world\'s largest financial services firms. He led a staff of 140 across several global divisions, including Corporate Communications and Marketing, Philanthropy, Government Affairs, and Corporate Social Responsibility. He directed a global branding campaign and signature sponsorships with the Andy Warhol Museum, Lincoln Center, London’s Royal Academy, and other leading arts and cultural organizations. Jeep established the company’s first Government Affairs office in Washington, D.C, and served as Chairman of the BNY Mellon Foundation, directing more than $20 million in annual grants to support economic empowerment and workforce development programs. Jeep led Corporate Communications and Community Relations for Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank and he was Director of Corporate Communications for First Union in Charlotte, one of the nation\'s largest banks at the time. His career has included positions as reporter, anchor and assignment editor for three television stations. An avid supporter of the arts, Jeep is an investor in the Tony Award winning musicals “Kimberly Akimbo” and “Dear Evan Hansen” and the drama “Disgraced,” winner of the Pulitzer Prize. He served on the Board of Trustees at Lincoln Center Theater and Charlotte Ballet. He is currently a board member at the Community Building Initiative in Charlotte and he is the former Chairman of WTVI, the region\'s public television station. Jeep is a recipient of the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America and the Infinity Award from the organization\'s Charlotte chapter. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a bachelor\'s degree with highest honors.
