About Jed Miley

With over seven years of experience in educational leadership and administration, I am the Executive Director at Yellow Wood Academy, a nonprofit school that serves students with diverse learning needs. I hold a Principal, Teaching certification and a Master\'s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Seattle University. I also have a Bachelor\'s degree in Spanish and Iberian Studies, and I am fluent in Spanish. I have a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, and I have led the school through multiple challenges and opportunities, such as transitioning to remote learning, expanding enrollment, increasing fundraising, and enhancing curriculum and instruction. I have also developed and empowered a team of dedicated and talented staff members, and I have fostered strong relationships with students, families, and partners. My core competencies include educational leadership, staff development, special education, and Spanish. I am committed to advancing the mission and vision of Yellow Wood Academy, and to providing a high-quality and personalized education for every student.
