ABOUT JEDEDIAH RASKIE
My passion for ocean conservation and sustainability first led me to the Coast Guard and a degree in Physical and Biological Oceanography. Striving to make a bigger positive impact on the ocean, I attended Duke\'s Nicholas School of the environment to learn about managing ocean environmental issues. Now, I\'m focusing my career on engaging businesses and utilizing market forces to reach sustainability goals. I earned an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2016 with a focus on Sustainable Enterprise. I also started a company called Blue Meridian Consulting to engage with businesses, NGOs, and government agencies to improve the effectiveness of ocean conservation initiatives through data analysis. Blue Meridian is also a platform for general business consulting, especially marketing, global supply chain management, and sustainability.
