Through the Inshuti Nyanshuti (True Friends) Initiative, we have raised over to support 24 of our Rwandan friends and family members. We have improved, protected, and restored health, built and rehabilitated homes, paid school fees and tuition, provided business loans, and grown our community. Only 5.98% of fundraising has gone to operations, with 93.62% of funds going directly to people. Urgent Health Support: INI has paid for 5 life-saving medical procedures and to help 6 families gain food securitySaving homes: INI provided funds for friends to build a dyke and thatch their roof in Vunga and build a roof in Muganza.School fees and building dreams- Provided school fees for two students from Sophmore to Senior year of highschool, helping them build towards career goals of becoming a writer, photographer, and community leader, and a musician and doctor, respectively- Providing 1 student with tuition to pursue a degree in journalismBusiness loans- For the purchase of equipment and rental space to set up a convenience store and photography studio in Kinazi- For the purchase of a shop space, clothing, and advertising for a clothing shop in Nyanza- For the purchase of materials, construction fees, labor, and new equipment for a new tailor shop in Nyanza- For start-up costs for a restaurant in Mugandamore
