I\'m the writer, host and creator of the true-crime podcast Gone South for Audacy. The first season, Who Killed Margaret Coon, aired in Fall 2021 and was among the top 10 US podcasts on the Apple charts for months after its release. It was awarded a National Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Podcast of 2021 and was among the top 50 most downloaded podcasts of 2022 on iTunes. Season 2,\"The Dixie Mafia,\" was released in Fall 2022 and covers the history of an outlaw band of criminals in the Deep South and a famous double homicide in Biloxi, Mississippi. Season 3,\"The Sign Cutter,\" about a serial killing in Laredo, Texas, was released in October 2023, and was a finalist for a 2023 Deadline Award for Best Investigative Podcast. Season 4, which began airing in October 2024, will release a total of 40 episodes, telling individual stories, through July of 2025. The season was nominated for a 2024 Webby Award in the Crime and Justice category, alongside Dateline and podcasts produced by MSNBC and CBS.
