ABOUT JESSE CISNEROS SOLIS
Researcher at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in Dr. Kristen Verhey\'s lab in the Cell and Developmental Biology department. I use iNeurons, molecular biology, and fluorescence microscopy to study kinesin-driven cargo transport in neurons. Collaborate with a physics group to develop a computational model that can help guide the design of biological experiments in my research project and vice versa. Present research to biologists, physicists, and the general public. Passionate about using my knowledge of physics, mathematics, and biology to understand and solve biological problems. After my Ph.D, I am interested in pursuing a career in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
