Liaison between Local 241 and Bus Operations for AVAS-BLIS grievance procedures and any related issues. • Investigate and research grievance issues submitted by 15 local unions.• Meets with union officials at grievance meetings and renders a decision on behalf of the Authority.• Advises and instructs management on disciplinary and contractual matters.• Facilitates Labor Management meetings to address labor issues; develops a course of action toward resolution. • Negotiates resolutions with union officials and union counsel. Works closely with the Authority’s Law Department to develop strategic defenses for grievances advanced to arbitration.• Prepare and execute Settlement Agreements and Implementation of said Agreement. • Assists in the preparation and presentation of management training programs relating the contractual grievance process, grievance handling and dispute resolution. • Developed PowerPoint on grievance training process.
