ABOUT JEANNINE GANT

I focus on making and creating connected solutions with a purpose. I think with intentionality in spaces where I can leverage my experience, skills, and interests. I approach my purpose with empathy, genuine curiosity, a nice sized toolbox, and take every opportunity to think outside the box with openness, creativity and connectedness. My lens is diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity, with a focus on:• Leadership Development in the values and purpose space• Design Thinking• Cause marketing strategies• Focused conversations• Corporate International Service Learning• STEM• Youth• Thought partnership with new nonprofit leadersI have spent most of my career in nonprofit leadership supporting marginalized youth, with a most recent role as a Chief Executive Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit I\'m a brand leader, strategist, problem solver,facilitator and storyteller. I helped Ford Division establish its brand as a leader in breast cancer awareness through a $32 million cause marketing campaign. I have provided leadership at organizations such as the School of Business at Wayne State University, Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Michigan and several local youth serving organizations. My opinions have been published in the Detroit Free Press, Crain\'s Detroit Business, Bridge Magazine, Emerging World, and Rolling Out. I have been a featured speaker with the Detroit Economic Club, Public Relations Society of America, Association for FundRaising Professionals, The Council of Michigan Foundations, media outlets and other civic and professional organizations.
