I provide academic instruction in Palliative Care to both Advanced Practice and New Graduate nursing students in diverse topics pertaining to pain, care and advance care planning. My goal is to provide this students with \"the tools they need to do the job\". I hope that they are achieving a level of comfort when a patient is experiening intractable pain, or when the patient and familly are ready to explore future options for care.
