ABOUT JEANNIE LEE

Jeannie has an excellent background in legal services, corporate governance, and business strategies with a focus in human resources management. In her current role with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Jeannie is part of the Securities and Capital Markets Group in the Toronto Office, assisting with securities regulatory matters and process improvement initiatives. Prior to Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Jeannie served as a Paralegal with responsibilities in the areas of mutual funds governance and corporate governance. In this role, she has experience in establishing governance frameworks and experience in managing various regulatory and compliance based projects that would include process improvement initiatives for the enterprise. Jeannie graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management. Jeannie obtained her Paralegal License from the Law Society of Ontario in 2011 and obtained her Canadian Risk Management designation from the Global Risk Management Institute in 2016. She is dedicated to life-long learning and professional development, as such; being in or creating environments where people are engaged and always learning inspires her. She believes this facilitates opportunities where people can be their best. Everyone has the potential to contribute to their community in various capacities using their strengths.
