About Jeannette Boot
Jeannette Boot is a trained coach, having completed the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) program and CRR Global’s Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) program. She has coached many lawyers and business professionals at WilmerHale and is now expanding her practice to include individual and corporate clients outside of the firm.In addition, Jeannette transitioned to an of counsel/consulting role at WilmerHale at the end of 2025, having served as a partner in the Investment Management Group there for nearly twenty years. Her legal practice includes advising clients on a wide range of derivatives products and trading agreements, providing both transactional and regulatory advice to financial institutions, investment advisors and corporations. Jeannette served on many firmwide committees during her tenure at WilmerHale, including the partner compensation committee and the counsel committee (responsible, among other tasks, for considering candidates for elevation to partnership). While at WilmerHale, Jeannette also served as the head of the firm’s Well-being Working Group, responsible for overseeing WilmerHale’s implementation of the American Bar Association’s Well-Being Pledge for Legal Employers. In that role, she sponsored or led many educational and training programs, including a practice-group specific series of workshops for partners that focused on well-being informed leadership.A regular speaker on wellbeing in the legal profession, Jeannette has been a member of the Wellbeing Pledge subcommittee of the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs since 2019 and was until recently a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyer Depression Project, an online peer-to-peer support group for legal professionals. She is also a member of the board of directors of Sanctuary for Families and serves on MindForward Alliance’s US Leadership Council.
