ABOUT JEANNE MARIE SALVATORE

For more than 30 years, I have been a trusted advisor to c-suite executives, public relations and communications professionals, as well as members of the media. Nationally recognized expert in insurance, disaster preparedness, and personal finance, I am a successful on-air spokesperson, lecturer and media coach.Served the insurance industry for several decades as the chief communications officer at the Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.) which is a non-profit trade association that represents the property/casualty and reinsurance business. As the I.I.I.\'s chief spokesperson, skillfully communicated complex insurance information in simple, consumer-facing language. Played a critical role in building the I.I.I. into a highly regarded multi-media organization. Currently, I am a professor of public relations who runs a consulting firm that helps individuals and organizations strategically turn change and disruption into opportunity and coaches executives to appear on camera or deliver important presentations.Most recently, I created a certificate program for the PRSA to teach journalists the skills they need to transition to a career in public relations.
