ABOUT JEANNA PIGNATIELLO

With over two decades of leadership at the intersection of education, innovation, and impact, I’ve dedicated my career to driving strategy, scaling programs, and improving student outcomes across K-12 schools and EdTech organizations nationwide.Currently, I serve as Chief Education & Outcomes Officer at New Story, where I lead the vision and strategy for educational quality, academic and behavioral outcomes, and program innovation across a network of 80+ special and alternative education schools. In this role, I collaborate with state-level leaders and passionate educators to enhance existing programs, design new instructional models, strengthen partnerships, and ensure students with complex needs receive the high-quality education and therapeutic support they deserve.Previously, I held executive roles including Chief Academic Officer, SVP, and Regional VP at nationally recognized organizations such as Stride Learning, K12, and Catapult Learning. My work has spanned academic and product strategy, overseeing portfolios exceeding $950M, scaling impact from $11M to $40M+, and launching instructional frameworks adopted at a national scale. My expertise includes curriculum and instruction, special education, online and digital learning, SEL, mental health, academic policy and research, educator development, data and assessment, high-dosage tutoring, and tech-enabled learning models.Throughout my career, I’ve combined deep instructional expertise with sharp business acumen to design scalable solutions, champion innovation in special education, and deliver measurable outcomes that transform lives.
