ABOUT JEANMARIE LEVY
I’m a Senior Product Designer driven by the opportunity to improve lives through technology. Expertise Civic Tech, in B2B, Enterprise and 0-1 spaces. With 7 years of UX experience, and 12 years experience overall of leading teams, I lead design for a 0→1 Affordable Housing product at Appfolio, where I design simple solutions to complex problems for enterprise customers all while leading our vision and product strategy. My superpower is bringing teams together and solving the right problem at the right time. I do this by utilizing my systems thinking strength, dreaming big in workshops, and staying organized throughout the sometimes messy design process. Previously, I designed products for ed-tech and civic-tech orgs in San Francisco, including Code for America, where I led the design of an app supporting justice-impacted communities. I’ve also worked as the sole Product Designer at an EdTech nonprofit, shaping product strategy and driving user growth. Research is my specialty as I uncover the most impactful problems to solve. My journey began in higher education, where I designed curricula and student experiences to support first-generation college students.
