ABOUT JEANINE EDINGTON

Jeanine Edington truly feels she lives and works in the best spot in the world, The Hamptons. Originally a Kentucky farm girl, Jeanine loves the natural beauty of the East End and having the ocean virtually at her door. An art major at Georgetown College in Kentucky, Jeanine entered the real estate business in 1983 after time spent raising her family. From the moment she did she was a natural, and a super star. Jeanine then became the owner of an independent firm with offices in both Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In the late 1990s, she was privileged to receive the National Hall of Fame award from industry icon Mike Ferry, the #1 Educator and Trainer of real estate agents in North America, and her personal coach of 15 years. What’s more, before moving to New York in Jeanine was responsible for personally selling an incredible 125 homes per year for three straight years, and considered one of the Top Agents Nationally, doing panels and interviews nationwide. While Jeanine initially split her time between Southampton and Manhattan, she decided to purchase a home in Southampton and root herself in the community full time. Since arriving there she has taken The Hamptons real estate market by storm. Even with the fluctuating economy, Jeanine seems to be unaffected and has risen to be one of the top real estate agents in The Hamptons. Just recently, Douglas Elliman recognized her extraordinary success with the Chairman’s Circle Gold Award, and ranked her Number 3 in the company out of 2500 agents and 50+ offices. Jeanine’s personality and energetic approach to real estate has made her a favorite and in demand among the community. She is sometimes referred to as, “The Cruise Director of The Hamptons”. Her extensive social network and client data base of over contacts has made Jeanine a sought-after Hamptonite by numerous organizations seeking her help to promote their networking events, restaurant openings, fundraisers and community charities.
