I started my writing career as a journalist (RIP, North County Times), moved to public relations, freelanced as a writer, and then on to student recruiting/marketing at a Los Angeles-area health professions university. I\'ve written hundreds of thousands of pieces of content - and that\'s all before I started my content writing business in 2008. I\'ve worked as a freelance writer/journalist for decades (even when I had a \"real job\"). I started out writing blogs – SO MANY blog posts! Moved to website copy, case studies, whitepapers and social media. My services now encompass content strategy as well as kick-ass content marketing and content writing (which - of course- still includes blogs).I may not be working as a journalist now, but my reporting/journalism skills remain top-notch. That means I can dig into reports, find data and stats, interview SMEs, and more. This results in great content that\'s far more authoritative and persuasive than the usual.My clients tell me my writing is cheeky, irreverent and \"definitely not boring.\" Which I look at as a great compliment, considering how bad, trite, hackneyed, uninspired, run-of-the-mill AWFUL so much content is today.This means I\'m probably not for everyone.
