Governs the leadership, develops and directs staff of Aviation Services Business Unit programs (Operations, Information Technology, Purchasing/Subcontracts, Supplier Management, Finance, Contracts, Distribution, Transportation, Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Stock/Inventory Control, Trade Compliance, and Property Management) team to ensure effective efficiencies in compliance with corporate policies, DCMA approved business systems (Purchasing, Accounting, Estimating, Property, Material Management Accounting), contractual, and legal requirements• Responsible for independently leading all efforts for a complex project or projects including monitoring of cost, budget, schedule, and performance• Ability to lead a team of logisticians, trainers, and field support personnel, to the completion of a complex project or projects• Maintains current state of technical knowledge of all customer support requirements• Effect customer interface and serves as the focal point for support planning requirements on advanced engineering development projects• Establishes operational objectives and assignments. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing policies which affect immediate operation(s)• Conducts Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability analysis of system performance and logistics response times using records generated by Logistics Information System (LIS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS) • Responsibility Level: Approximately $2.7 Billion DOD contract(s) with multiple locations (14) and deployed assets/resources CONUS (200 personnel), Profit/Loss Accountability• Commodities Supported: Aviation Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul, Commercial Consumables/Expendables, Support Equipment, Facilities, Base Operations, Leasing, Recruiting, Administrative, Information Technology, Petroleum, and Transportation
