About Jeana Hooker
I am a dynamic and results-driven leader, with over 17 years of comprehensive expertise across program and project management, training, facilitation, and leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within both the technology and healthcare sectors. My strategic approach and meticulous attention to detail have consistently driven successful outcomes, steering complex organizations through collaborative cross-functional efforts, innovative process implementations, and inclusive leadership practices. As part of my work in the DEI space, I led a cross-functional team in external benchmarking and related action plans that resulted in a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. In addition, I successfully advocated for ERG leader compensation and budget increases from C-suite leaders, led a campaign that resulted in increased voluntary self-identification participation, collaboratively developed a robust ERG program, coached and mentored ERG leaders, created, organized, and facilitated DEI trainings for people leaders, C-Suite Executives, HR, and Talent Aquisition, partnered with Talent Aquisition and Diversity Outreach to help diversify our talent pipeline, facilitated contract negotiations with external partners and suppliers, and led the development of inclusive policies and supporting resources. In the technology space, I successfully led large-scale, global software implementations in both learning and knowledge management across 15 countries in 5 languages. I obtained a Master\'s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University and an Executive Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Georgetown University. I am committed to public service, continuous learning, systems change, and advancing economic, racial, and social justice for historically/currently marginalized and underserved communities. In addition to my career, I am the Interim Board President of Oregon Pride in Business (Oregon and SW Washington\'s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce) and Chair both the Events and Programs Committees.
