About Jean Meyer
Being an educator has been a passion of mine since I was a small child playing school with all the neighborhood kids. I started by career as a teacher in a small private school and continued on to a large rural school in Versailles, Missouri. Once obtaining my Master\'s degree in leadership, I started to search for my first administrative position with 12 years of teaching experience in grades K-12. While in my first administrative position at Adrian RII Schools, we were able to achieve the Gold Star Award and a Blue Ribbon nomination. After a very successful 3 years, I moved to University Academy Charter school as the lead principal for the Lower School. During my tenure, University Academy achieved the highest test scores in its history.
