ABOUT JEAN CLOUTIER

Momentum is the exclusive distributor of Descente skiwear in both Canada and the USA. Momentum also distribute Arena, Toad & Co. and Odlo in Canada.Jean Cloutier was at Lanctot from 2016 to 2022 where he oversaw the operations, Finance and Business Development.\"Jean has contributed to making Lanctot what it is today, especially through his talent for finding business opportunities and for building and maintaining relationships with our partners\" said Diane Lanctot, president of Raymond Lanctot Ltd.Prior to Lanctot, Jean was VP Operations & Finance at Outdoor Gear Canada from 1994 to 2015. OGC is a leading supplier of high-quality, high-value cycling, outdoor and snow product brands in Canada. Mr. Cloutier sat on the board of director of the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada from 2008 to 2014 and was President in 2010 & 2011.Subsequently as CFO and COO at Sunice from January 2015 to March 2016. Sunice emerged in 1976 in Calgary as a dynamic new brand in skiwear and golf outerwear.Mr. Cloutier holds a B.A.A. from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and obtained his CA in 1985. After working a few years for an accounting firm in Montreal, Jean held positions at Jupa Sports (skiwear manufacturer) before joining OGC in 1994 where he is also an equity partner in the company.Mr. Cloutier was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year in 2010 along with his 2 partners in OGC in the manufacturing category for Quebec. Mr. Cloutier was selected as a member of the jury for the Quebec E&Y Entrepreneur of the year awards in 2011 and 2012 and was a national judge for the 2012 Canadian E&Y Entrepreneur of the year awardsHe also serves as a city councillor since 2006 for the small municipality of Lac Tremblant-Nord.
