ABOUT JEAN-CHARLES GUILHEM

Mechanical & Automation Engineer with a MBA in finances, I started my career in 1981 with industrial services to run workshops and local companies. Then I joined BBC France in 1987 to lead the local Motors & Drives business.In 1998 I moved to the ABB Automation Products Division to develop globally the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical market. In a couple of years I could build a sustainable leading position for this company in combining global projects pursuit and rolling business.From this success I pioneered in 2004, the Group Account Management positions for Engineering & Services companies such as Technip. Then I took the lead of the whole team of ABB Group Accounts Managers for the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry where we generated significant and profitable growth every year.January 2012, I created 2B1st Consulting to develop digital solutions for the industry.November 2012, I created the first one-line sales pursuit tool to trace and scan the content of the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.November 2017, I released the first collaborative platform, branded Industrie 4.0 Smart Platform®, to protect the intellectual property and secure the data management of the companies while co-working on collaborative projects such as Joint business development or collaborative innovation.January 2018, I joined on volunteer basis the Digital Committee, called CLAR Digital, of the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical French trade association called EVOLEN.December 2018, I contributed to form the Digital Transition Committee of the French Filière des Industriels de la Mer (Marine, Offshore and Renewable Energies Industries) including four trade associations (GICAN, EVOLEN, FIN and SER) to help speeding up the digital transition of these industries with my expertise in digital technologies and standards.
