Responsible for completion of all domestic federal and state income tax returns including all related analysis and support.• Provides leadership, direction and oversight of the strategic and tactical management of Corporate tax compliance.• Supervision of Sales & Use tax compliance in coordination with local agencies’ financial management.• Responsible for audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings.• Responsible for preparing the Company\'s monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting income tax provision and related financial statement disclosures.• Assists the CFO with all tax planning issues (in coordination with external consultants and European based international tax planning team).• Supervise tax due diligence and provide recommendations for structuring of equity related transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture formations and tax restructuring activities.• Responsible for transfer pricing and management fee/license fee arrangements.• Monitors changes in tax laws and reporting the impact of those changes recommending tax policies and solutions to management by projecting tax exposures and evaluating and presenting tax action options (in coordination with external consultants if applicable).• Coordinates with Accounting and Business Planning to obtain and analyze legal entity pre-tax and forecasted P/Ls and evaluate the income tax accounting impact; analyze monthly variances to determine impact on tax accounting.• Assist the VP Treasurer in estimating and monitoring annual cash taxes.• Supervise professional staff of two and preferred liaison with external service provider.• Liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues.• Ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes.• Ensure legal entity tax basis balance sheets properly reflect all tax accounts.
