Jean Bennett is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and successful project manager with over 30 years’ experience of engineering, construction, commissioning, manufacturing, R&D and business change projects.Jean is experienced in the delivery of new build engineering projects and new product introductions, with an aptitude for analysing the root cause of problems and delivering practical solutions within challenging timelines.Jean has extensive understanding of the management of both nuclear and conventional safety, health and environment gained within the Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build project and a world class pharmaceutical company. Jean has experience commissioning process plant and HVAC equipment across several new build projects. Culminating in the leadership of a multidisciplinary commissioning team which delivered the plant to operations for early manufacturing.Jean has extensive experience of leading multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams to deliver all phases of New Build Major Construction projects, New Product Introductions (NPI) and business change projects. Along with a comprehensive understanding of managing the safety, health and environmental risk during every stage of an engineering project and process manufacturing. Jean was recognised corporately as a Senior Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) Study Leader capable of facilitating Risk Assessments for changes having significant potential SHE implications and a Major Accident Investigation Leader trusted to investigate major/fatal accidents across the company. Jean uses her strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate with and influence people from diverse cultures and at all levels of the organisation, coupled with a proven ability to coach and line manage teams of professional Engineers to deliver high quality engineering input to a range of projects.
