ABOUT JEAN-BAPTISTE LAPORTE

Jean-Baptiste (JB) Laporte is a passionate health care professional with more than a decade of experience treating world-class athletes in the National Football League (NFL) successfully. Recently, JB worked for CF Montreal in Major League Soccer (MLS) as performance therapist and in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as interim/consulting Head Athletic Trainer. Today, JB works in Montreal and help giving back to his alma matter at Concordia University with football, colleagues and students. JB Laporte is an expert in the highest quality assessment and treatment of movement impairment and muscular imbalances, injury prevention, and return-to-play (RTPlay). JB is a rehabilitation specialist with 24 certifications and 4 licenses in assessment and rehabilitation, manual therapy, and performance who uses unique assessment tools and therapeutic techniques. JB has an expert ability to set realistic expectations with players and team stakeholders as injury reduction and rehabilitation plans are designed and implemented and, as his track record proves, avoid RTPlay setbacks. Simply, JB prides himself on treating players who are never behind rehabilitation and performance schedule. JB has successfully treated NFL Hall of Fame, NFL MVP, and Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, is comfortable advising veteran players as well as being a mentor to rookies. Additionally, JB complements his education and experience in emerging fields such as: leadership, management of high performance teams and high performance teams innovations, elite athletes wellness but also high performance staff wellness.
