Ensures the operational efficiency and safety of Guests and Cast. Responds to incidents, assists Guests and Cast Members during safety & emergency situations. Infant, Child, and Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and bleeding control trained. Controls vehicle and pedestrian access across our property. Screens Guests and their belongings for prohibited items, which may include the use of a hand-held metal detection wand. Uses radio telecommunication, computer technology, and electro-magnetic technology including hand-held metal detection wands, and operates motor vehicles across the Walt Disney World Resort. Maintains relationships with Cast Members at all levels and all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast. Assesses and analyzes situations, collects information, and prioritizes while remaining calm and maintaining confidentiality. Supervises and maintains crowd control during peak operational hours, which requires prolonged standing and walking in outdoor settings in different weather conditions. Uses Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) as well as handling cleaning chemicals and supplies.
