Having retired from a 33-year national security career within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) in 2022, I founded and serve as CEO of Intbox Ventures, LLC (dba IntboxCo) where I leverage the expansive expertise developed over my public service career and harness my passion for investing in innovative technology to advise, accelerate, and back cutting-edge emerging technology and innovation startups focused on security and prosperity. I also work in a venture partner role with Mission One Capital (M1C), and as a strategic advisor for AI sector sovereign AI provider MeetKai and hypersonic technology sector HyperSciences and its defense and space subsidiary General Hypersonics, among others. I additionally provide tailored strategic advisory services as an Independent Contractor.As a decorated Senior Intelligence Service (SIS) Executive Manager at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), I consistently drove outcomes responsive to U.S. policy and national security interests in a range of senior leadership roles. I had an established record of effectively envisioning and executing strategic outcomes; fostering, developing, and managing complex bilateral and multilateral liaison relationships; leading through complex change; advancing difficult negotiations; and forming and developing high-impact teams that optimized incumbent opportunities and successfully addressed the most complex challenges in front of the U.S. Government. Through my combined IC and State Department diplomatic experience and through expansive dealings with foreign interlocutors across the Western Hemisphere, Middle East, Europe, and Africa, I have developed well-honed cross-cultural leadership skills and international relations experience and have a strong track record of managing and leading cross-functional teams; leading and overseeing large-scale, dispersed operating elements; and successfully advancing strategic goals, managing risk, and executing large budgets in support of expansive, high-stakes strategic programs. While working in an advisory role with drone airspace awareness startup SkySafe, Inc, I successfully pursued a seven-figure strategic government capture initiative which portended significant ARR for the company in the out-years.
