About Jonathan Jon Plasencia
Ph.D, full stack machine learning engineer, researcher, and member with 15 years of experiences and interests in developing and applying ML algorithms and pipelines, combined with domain expertise, to extract insights into image and signal data. Professional experiences have included working with image/signal data of clinical and industry importance, clinical electronic health record (EHR) data, clinical administration data, and health policy data. Furthermore, I have experience working with non-clinical data of industry and government importance, i.e, synthetic aperture radar and optical data.I enjoy working on projects and thrive in environments where I am collaborating with collaborative teams and groups that are comprised of diverse technical skills and domain expertises. I am both comfortable leading project teams and fitting into a supporting role to help others accomplish their project objectives.
